Experience you can lean on.

I started my career in insurance in 2010. Since then I have built a wealth of experience and a practical understanding of how to protect what matters most to the people I work with.

My approach is straightforward. I take the time to understand you, your family, your business, and the things you have worked hard to build. Then I bring my experience to the table so we can think through how to look after them. There is no rush, no script, and no pressure. Just a real conversation between two people.

Showing up in person

I believe in the power of face to face. So much of what I do relies on trust, and trust is built more quickly across a kitchen table or in the corner of a quiet cafe than it ever is on a screen. Where it makes sense I will come to you. I want to see the property, walk through the shed, meet the dog. Those small details give me a clearer picture of what we are protecting and why it matters.

That said, I also know life is busy. If a phone call or a video chat suits you better, that is what we will do. The point is that the conversation works for you. You should never feel like you are slotting into someone else system.

Listening first

Most of my early conversations with a new client are spent listening. I ask about what you do, how the year has been, what is changing, what is keeping you up at night. The answers shape everything that follows. Two clients in the same town with seemingly similar businesses can have very different needs, and I never want to assume.

Listening also means hearing the small comments people often dismiss. A new piece of equipment, a casual mention of working from home a few days a week, a son or daughter starting to help out in the business. Those details often matter more than they seem, and being attentive to them is part of doing this job properly.

Clear, plain language

Insurance can feel complex, but it does not have to. I make a point of explaining things in plain language, without jargon, and without rushing through the parts that matter. If something is not clear, I would much rather you stop me and ask than leave a meeting with questions still in your head. There is no such thing as a silly question when it comes to your cover.

I also try to be upfront about what I do not know. If a question sits outside my area, I will tell you and point you toward the right person. Honesty is a quiet part of doing good work, and it matters to me.

Staying close after the policy is in place

A lot of the value I bring shows up after the paperwork is signed. Life changes, businesses grow, families expand, properties are renovated, and the cover that made sense last year might need a refresh. I keep in touch, I check in, and I make sure your arrangements continue to reflect where you actually are. The relationship does not end at the start. In many ways that is when it really begins.

If something goes wrong, I want to be one of the first calls you make. Claims are where this work matters most, and being a steady, familiar voice during a stressful time is one of the most important things I can offer.

Rooted in the Northern Rivers

Working as a local matters. I understand the rhythms of the region, from the wet seasons to the busy summer trade. I know the towns, the back roads, and the pressures small operators here are under. When you talk to me about your property in the hills behind Lismore or your cafe in Ballina, I am picturing it because I have been there. That local knowledge sharpens every conversation we have.

Personal service

I pride myself on being a true people person. My greatest reward is helping others feel confident about their future.

Practical support

Insurance can feel complex, but I make it simple. I focus on clear communication and helping you understand the cover options available.
