A little about how I work

Honest conversations, careful cover, and a familiar face when it matters most.

I am Vanessa Pardo, an Authorised Representative working with families, farmers, and small business owners across the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. I have spent more than a decade in insurance, and in that time I have come to believe that good cover starts with a good conversation. Before anything else, I want to understand who you are, what you have built, and what you would struggle to recover from if something went wrong.

The homes, sheds, and small places people have built up over a lifetime.

My work is grounded in face to face service. Where I can, I will come to you. I want to see the property, walk the paddock, sit at the kitchen table, or meet you in the corner of a quiet cafe. Trust is built in those small, unhurried moments, and I have never found a shortcut that works as well. When meeting in person is not practical, a phone call or a video chat is just as welcome. The point is that the conversation suits you, not the other way around.

I take the time to explain things in plain language. Insurance can feel complex, full of fine print and unfamiliar words, but it does not have to be that way. If something is not clear, I would much rather you stop me and ask than leave with questions still in your head. I will always tell you what is covered, what is not, and where the grey areas sit. Honesty matters to me, and quiet, careful work is how I show it.

From the kitchen table to the cattle yard, I want to see what we are protecting.

The relationship does not end once a policy is in place. Life moves on, businesses grow, families change, and the cover that made sense last year may need a refresh. I check in, I keep in touch, and I make sure your arrangements still reflect where you actually are. If something goes wrong, I want to be one of the first calls you make. Claims are where this work matters most, and being a steady, familiar voice during a stressful time is one of the most important things I can offer.

Living and working in the Northern Rivers shapes everything I do. I know the towns, the back roads, and the rhythms of the region from the wet seasons to the busy summer trade. I understand the pressures small operators here are under, and I am picturing your property in the hills behind Lismore or your cafe in Ballina because I have most likely been there. If any of this sounds like the kind of service you have been looking for, I would love to hear from you.
